Annual Meeting

Annual Meeting is an incredible time to pick up new language, re-evaluate how you ‘sell’ the career, and re-confirm your belief in Northwestern Mutual! If you are anything like us, you go through a notebook, at least one pen, and have hand cramps for a week with all the notes but don’t forget to take a moment and figure out what is most important, what you have questions on, and what you want to implement right away.

Strategize:

  1. What would be the EASIEST thing to implement?

  2. What can be implemented immediately?

  3. What can be implemented over the next 30 days?

  4. What is one or two things I would like to discuss more with the leadership team?

Share:

  1. Get excited! Let other recruiters, reps and staff know what pumped you up! Shoot them a text or email

  2. Work with leadership on how to share stories with candidates (set them up for success by adding a little note in the candidate file reminding them to share something specific from annual meeting with a candidate— example: a story of perseverance)

  3. Post on social media about your experience. People are attracted to other people who are having fun and love what they do!
