Claire Myers


Claire formerly sat on the Executive Team of Northwestern Mutual San Francisco and served as their Chief Recruiting Officer. She was responsible for recruiting many of the leaders within Northwestern Mutual that continue to drive growth at the company to date.

During her tenure at the company, she was retained to drive change across various business units, including recruiting, productivity consulting, and Information Technology. As such, Claire has a distinct appreciation for the complexities of multi-faceted organizations, and knows that the only strategies worth considering are the ones we can actually execute.


As Chief Recruiting Officer, Claire successfully implemented a centralized recruiting model which led to double-digit increases in all key performance indicators. Other accomplishments include attracting and retaining high-quality, high-activity and long-standing recruiters, successfully developing and maintaining a recruiting budget, recruiting over 50% diverse candidates, being invited to speak at various company engagements (Annual Meeting, Regional Meetings, MutualFit, Activity Coaching Clinic & Internship 101) and leading the team to be ranked in the top five and top ten in national standings.

Claire has a business degree from Sonoma State University and a MBA from Alverno College. She is also a Master Certified Coach and certified in Organization Change Management through Prosci. Claire lives in Sonoma, CA with her boyfriend Jon, two dogs and a cat. She enjoys completing half ironman distance triathlons, camping, hiking, spending time with family, trying new food and wine tasting.
